This study discusses the phenomenon of the transformation of songket weaving craft in the realm of home industry as an effort to preserve culture and strengthen the local creative economy in Aceh Besar. The focus of the study was directed at songket weaving products produced by the home industry Quality Aceh Songket (QAS), which showed the richness of shapes, diversity of motifs, and functions that are adaptive to contemporary needs. The purpose of this study is to analyze the visual form, motif structure, and social and practical functions of QAS songket products. The method used is descriptive-qualitative with a visual approach and direct observation. The results of the study show that QAS has succeeded in creating product innovations through the integration of new materials such as abaka fibers, as well as the exploration of flora, fauna, objects, and typical Acehnese food motifs. These products not only have an aesthetic function, but also a symbolic and economic meaning. The conclusion of this study is that innovation within the framework of tradition can strengthen cultural identity and open up opportunities for economic empowerment. The recommendations are directed at policy support and strengthening the market network for the sustainability of the local craft industry.
